I know..

there is no sun at the moment...but I can still pretend and look way cool and sassy with those Marc Jacobs shades. I love them. They have been a wish of my for so long. I don't know when to buy them. But I know I will soon. Perhaps early spring, when the sun is really sharp?
Anyway, I need to find a shop, where they have these and try them on, to see if they fit. If they do, they sure will be mine. Or if someone is in a giving mood, these are something u can give me and I will forever be greatfull. Oh Marc Jacobs, how I adore u so.

I Can't Wait..

Time To Change.

Today I did a good thing for myself, personally. I called those who live in my apartment, to move out March 1, next year. (I currently live in a friends apartment with another friend, who is moving out around mid February. It's a long story why I ended here. Don't wanna bother the blog with that). I have been thinking, since last summer, that I really wanted to move back. But there has been some complications around it. Now it finally happens. I CANNOT WAIT! To be back in my apartment and to know that it's all MINE! Not living with anyone anymore, is gonna be so JOYFUL!! I have been living my whole life with someone, either family or friends. But now, that I am almost 34 (SSSSHHH!!) it's time to be on my own.
It's gonna be fantastic. To do things in my way. Closing the door and knowing, that it's only ME, who is there and it's up to ME to decide, when I want company! I love the thought of having my own little nest, where it's only MY STUFF, my furnitures, clothing, my music that is playing, my things on the walls. To be able to have it all on my own, is a little bit scary, but I am mostly happy about it, as I like to be on my own and I am sick of having roommates. And if I should find a man (that will be the day!), then it's nice to have a flat on my own and not worry about what he might think of me having a roommate at my age! (I am not judging those that are older than me, who has one! This is me).
March can't come soon enough. I can't wait to go buy furnitures, scented candles, flowers, hanging stuff on the walls. It's gonna be MY HOME. I keep you posted, what will happen and snap pictures of the flat, when I have moved in there. Stay tuned.

All I Want...

For Christmas is... this collection between Cool Cats and Lacoste (Okay, I want many other things, like a big amount of money!). The cardigan is just so lovely to look at and the shoes are so fantastic. Look for yourself and tell me, that this is sweet and totally my taste ;)

It's Oh So Cold..

I found this jumper in the back of my closet! I have been waiting for cold weather to get it on (ok, not that I'm a fan of winter and cold weather). I bought it at a secondhand shop for almost nothing. I love secondhand shops! Those who know me well, knows, that I have a thing for jumpers. This is my favorite. And knitting are always in style. Just look at The Queen Of Knitwear Sonia Rykiel or Missoni. I will be living in this for the next couple of months. Wooo!

I Love..

..that I have some wonderful friends, that have a very different taste in music, but still have some artists in common. Most of my friends are Toriphiles (fans of Tori Amos) and we like to swim around in our love and admiration of her. But every now and then, we do listen to other artists than her. (Okay, I admit, I'm probably the one who listen to Tori, the most. There, I said it).

I like when my friends post videos with an artist, that they really like and it's how I discover so many new artists whom I have never heard of. This evening I discovered the band Frente! Apparently, they have been around since the very early 90's (man, where have I been? In Toriland, I presume!). It's an Australian Alternative Rock band (Rock, really has a wide term these days! I like to think of them as Alternative Pop or just Singer/Songwriter, but that's me!). The front singer Angie Hart, has a very fine, gentle voice. She reminds me a bit of the front singer Meredith Godreau from Gregory And The Hawk. Again, its only my opinion. Yours might think different. Anyway..here is a track with Frente! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I know there will be MONTHS, until summer is here again. But I just wanna have a moment to pretend, that it is summer and enjoy this stunning track, that my friend Sarah posted on her Facebook profile and I just had to post it here. SO GOOD. Summer, come around soon. (I know I know, 3 posts in a day, I'm already addicted to this).

Kiehl's.

I have to rate these products from New York based Kiehl's. Since 1851 it was founded as an old-world Apothecary in East-Village neighborhood. So its been around like forever. In other countries than Denmark. I have been snatching up stuff from them, over the years, when I have been travelling. But for some reasons, I have not been buying it for a while. But then last year, it came to Denmark for real, after been in Copenhagen Airport for some time. I was happy to see it came a long in my neighborhood. Last week, I was browsing at the little shop, they have in a departmentstore. I have a friend that works for Kiehl's. So we had a good chat, about my ever so dry skin. I have been around SO MANY labels of skincare and didn't like any of it. My skin is not only dry (I mean REALLY DRY!) it's also very sensitive to perfume. So I need to be carefull of what I put in my face. So my friend found these two lovely gems. Gentle Foaming Facial Cleanser and Creme D'Elegance Repairateur. Sounds very fancy. And so it is. The cleanser is just so silk like and its like cleansing ur face in a cloud of fluffy skies (!) and it leaves my skin super soft and not rash or irritated. Its easy to use. I take it with me, when I shower. The cream is just so so wonderful. It's really light and I thought that it was going to be one of those creams, that I needed to apply like a 100 times a day. But I was oh so wrong. It keeps my skin moist the whole day and it has a wonderful feeling. And best of all: my skin driks it all and it dosen't get irritated or anything. I LIKE!! I have not felt rash or anything. And in these winter months, your skin will thank you. It's fragrance free and almost have a non smell. If I have to complain about anything, it will be, that their is no smell. I like that it has a heavenly scent, that I can smell for a while. But this is just the least. Another good thing, is, that it's affordable. It's not very expensive or cheap. I paid $ 47.
So if you have a very dry and sensitive skin like me, I highly recommend these to gems. You won't be disappointed.

Snowflakes.

So I woke up this morning to a world in white! Or almost. It's been snowing last night. Thin layers of snow on the roof of houses and on the ground. It's pretty. I like winter when there is snow. Not the rainy and foggy weather. Now I might even beginning to feel the Christmas spirit. But I doubt I will, until December 23 and then on Christmas eve. On the 25th it's over and I can go back to normal. Almost. Then there will be New Year and my birthday. I just want all 3 things to be over quick. Never been a fan of any of it. But I do like parts of it. Mostly the food part. I'm a huge food lover. Spicy food (not extremely hot, but mildly hot is fine) is a thing that I really adore. But desserts and cake like cupcakes is really my heart. I simply adore it. I have not yet tried to make those lovely yummy cupcakes. But I have been really eager to try it out.
I have seen there is a Cupcake Camp in my neighborhood, that I will see if I can get some friends to join with me. It looks great. And after reading a friends blog (Claire Magowan, check out her blog: frenchforcupcake.com), its so damn pretty and she is a huge lover of making cupcakes and she is so good at it..they are like little artworks. So that might be a fun thing to try out.
So I started this blog thing last night. I have been reading blogs for ages, but never dared to try it out myself. I didn't think that I had anything to say or show. But after reading others blogs and got ideas to try it out myself, I was eager to make this. I really do hope it will be worth it. I can imagine that it will be a bit hard to start with. I will do my best to keep it interesting. But I would love to hear from you, that follow this blog. What you would like to see or know about me. Ideas for a cool wallpaper, a recipe I should try out, music I should listen to, a perfume to smell, clothes to check out, a book I should read...whatever that you find interesting and you think I might like. I will look it all up, try it all (IF I can find it in my city or online) and I will review it. This could be really fun. I will go and do the same, so you can get a view into my world and the things that I like and adore. I will try my best, when I buy stuff and show pictures of it, to try and get the prize in Danish kroner/euros/dollars, so that you all, from around the world, that might read this, can get the prize right. And if you are in the mood for it, you are more than welcome to send me stuff, that you like or think I might like and I will show it here on the blog.
Oh, I can see that this is going to be a long post. I hope you bare with me.

Welcome To My World!

So here I am.
This is my first ever blog post. So excited.
I don't know what it will be about. Probably bits and bobs about what I like and what is on my mind. Pictures mostly.
I decided to have the blog name, because I am a huge Tori Amos fan and I had to use a name that reminded me of her and how much she means to me. I promise, that this blog will not be only about her, but I cannot guarantee, that it would be a Tori free blog. Simply cannot be without.
I also thought that the title for this blog would be good, as I live up north and it's really only warm for a couple of weeks on a whole year. Some might say months, but, the year, that it's warm for more that a month in total, I give into that.
It's almost 1 am and I will be jumping to be. Excited about this and to see if I will get any to read it, look at the pictures, watching the videos I upload from time to time.
